I don't know why I haven't been keeping up on blogging. It seems like ever since we found out we were pregnant, my schedule has completely flipped upside down.
So, just a few odds and ends....
- I've missed some birthday wishes- My mother in laws birthday was last week, so HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY LINDA! We did get to have dinner with her to celebrate, but being a bad daughter in law, I didn't post.
My nephew turned two over a week ago too. Happy 2nd Birthday to Tucker. We just had cake and ice cream for him yesterday at my Grandma's.
- I don't know what I will do about shaving "down there" for the rest of my pregnancy. It is getting harder and harder because my belly is getting bigger and bigger. I can't really see what I'm doing. Sorry if this is TMI, but it really has been on my mind lately. I guess I could turn to waxing. I used to wax every once in awhile, but just prefer to take care of it myself. I told Keith he is just gonna have to roll up his sleeves and help me! :)
- Keith had a job interview last Thursday with a nearby school district. They are trying to create an opening that would start in August. If you think of it, pray for him. He'd really like this district and it is close, so we wouldn't have to move.
- I got a refund check in the mail from a hospital visit in July 2006! I didn't even know that I had overpaid the hospital, so this check was extra-exciting! They could have never reimbursed me and I wouldn't have known the difference! The money is going right into our "baby fund", which is the money I am saving for my maternity leave.
- Oh, my husband informed me that we are no longer able to fit comfortably laying on the couch together. He said that we aren't "slim pickin's", which basically means that I have gotten too big for snuggles on the couch! Why, oh, why didn't we purchase a deeper couch? :)
- I mentioned that we were going to go on a budget. We are getting things ready for the big transition. Our messages at church for the next couple of weeks are dealing with finances and our pastor gave a handout to record exactly where your money is going. We are going to write down where every dime goes, which we think will help us in establishing our budget. (Big breath)
So, that's about it in my life.
I'm trying to catch up on everyone's blogs. I'll get there, I promise!

Yes it is amazing how life changes when life is growing inside of you....as for shaving "down there" too funny, I would opt for 'extra help' instead of waxing but thats just me..little wimpy!!
Up here in the north we have mat leave for a year and it is paid for by the government and here is the real kicker I NEVER got to take advantage of it because it was after all my kids were born!!!
Hope your budgeting works out and hope you feel good!!
Prego woman are by FAR the most beautiful!!!
You need to ask Val about my irrational fear about shaving down there when pregnant. In fact I cried during delivery apologizing for what a mess it was as I had been on bedrest for 4 weeks and shaving just wasn't an option. I'd have Keith do it. I used to make Matt when I was able to. ((hush hush he would die if he knew I told you)
Good luck on the budgeting. You will be glad in the end.
Dying about shaving "down there" love that you're willing to say things that I'm not so bold to say on my blog!
Seriously, still cracking up.
Corie, that's so funny! I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you use a mirror, it's possible. I couldn't have Neil do it (no way), so I tried. But honestly, the way you look down there is nothing compared to what the doctor will see when you are giving birth. The doctors DO NOT CARE!! I saw it first hand with the birth I photographed and it's the baby that everyone is concerned about so I wouldn't worry TOO much! :):)
Keith is so funny . . . I always love the things he says!!
I just saw Beth the other day . . . she looks so cute! Makes me want to see you and how cute you must look :) Did you know Beth fell and broke her wrist yesterday??? Baby is okay thank goodness!
