Question......

In an attempt to get to know a little bit more about my fellow bloggers, (especially with the Ultimate Blog Party still going strong) here's a question......

If The Amazing Race were to come to your town, what "hot spot" or landmark would they use for a challenge or rest stop?

Since I live in St. Louis, I bet the Amazing Race would use

the Arch,

Anheuser Busch Brewery,

or Forest Park.

Can't wait to find out where you are from!!!

Ooh, my favorite show! I'm from Chi-town, so I'd have to say the Sears Tower, tallest building in the country. And because it's the Amazing Race, they'd of course have to bungee jump from the top, or some crazy nonsense like that.

I LOVE the Amazing Race and every time it comes on, I tell my husband I wish we could be on it (as long as I didn't have to sky-dive). Sky-diving is one of those things that I want to want to do...make sense? Anyway, I think they'd go to Vulcan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulcan_statue or Sloss Furnace http://www.slossfurnaces.com/media/html/home/sloss_story.php.

P.S. Two of my college roommates are from St. Louis. We were out there about 3 years ago for a wedding - loved it!

I keep saying that DH and I should try out for Amazing Race. I think we would do good.

Hmmm... Raleigh, NC... RTP (Research Triangle Park), Duke or UNCs Campus, Capital Building, Jordan Lake. But since we are less than 2 hours from the beach or the mountains I would send them there LOL

Hmmm... I live on a peninsula across from Seattle... so folks would eithr go to the Space Needle, or maybe a ferry. I think the ferry trip are so refreshing!

I live in a suburb, and I don't think there's anything interesting enough here to stop at. But I'm near NYC, so there would be a million places they could choose from. My choice would be Yankee Stadium though.

Actually, I just remembered, there is hot air ballooning here, and the surrounding towns grow the majority of the nations Vidalia onions, so maybe one of those?

We visited the Arch last summer. We were driving through on our way to visit my in-laws in Iowa. It was a little scary. There is not much where we live but I would have to say Table Rock State Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains. They are well worth the visit.

Ooh, fun idea for a tag. I'll have to think about it. Minneapolis... how about, Mall Of America, the Spoon Bridge in the Scupture garden, the velodrome at the National Sports Center, the Mississippi river (maybe teetering near the wreckage of the collapsed 35W bridge.)
