I love Fridays. They have always been my favorite day of the week. It used to be beacause I knew I would be off work for two days. Now it is because my husband will be off work for two days and Chloe and I get to spend two days with him.
We've had a good week. I had my OB/GYN check-up on Wednesday. Everything is good. I've lost my pregnancy weight (actually, I had lost 30 lbs at my 3 week check-up), my blood pressure is good, my uterus has shrunk to it's original size and the incision is healing beautifully.
Yesterday we met my friend Amanda and her little boy, Ryan, at the St. Louis Mills Mall. I think Amanda might post some pictures, so you'll have to go to her blog (Life In the Morrow Household) to check 'em out. We had a great time walking around and spending time with them. Amanda is fantastic and I love having her in my life. She's a mommy friend, so she "gets" all the things I'm going through. And, she is super-helpful to me. Being Mommies together, in my opinion, has taken our friendship to a new level.
Today, after Keith gets off work, we are heading to Decatur to see my family. My sister will be in town with her two kids. Chloe gets to meet her cousins, Riley and Tucker, for the first time! I can't wait for them to meet!!! My mom has a three day weekend, so we'll get lots of time with her too! And, we are managing to squeeze in a family reunion on Saturday.
So, that's been our last couple of days...
And, what's a post without one picture of our girl...
Oh, can I just mention that Chloe nursed at 9:20pm last night, was in bed by 10:00pm and is still sleeping?!?! Bless her lil heart.

Awesome!!! Do you feel like a new woman? :)
Great news from the doc too!
That little girl is really adorable...she makes me want one!
Good girl Chloe!! That's great for all of you. :)She is beautiful!
Any advice for loosing baby weight?! I have 2 babies worth that I am trying to shed. :(
I love those gummy baby smiles. :) And what a sweet little dress.
Isn't it interesting how motherhood can sometimes change our relationships with other women? I don't think I ever realized how being a mom would affect SO MANY areas of my life (mostly for the better!).
we also had a great time yesterday...I think if we meet there once a month, walk around it twice, scope out the stores, then go back for our third loop and then we can enter the stores, that way we know who has the sales and we get our cardio!!!
I hope with some of the things I say are some what helpful and not pushy...I don't want to be one of those 'know it all' moms, when I know maybe 1% of motherhood!
Glad you are getting out and settling into mommyhood. :)
OK, I'm completely jealous. I can't believe you've lost all the baby weight already and you have a great sleeper! Congratulations!
