We've got alot going on right now.... I'm behind on blogging, so this post is just a "catch all" post, trying to touch on everything that's happening.
First, we are still trying to buy our first home. Long story short, we ended up switching banks. This made our closing date later than we had originally anticipated, but it is going to save us money all around- in closing costs and in our monthly mortgage payment. So, switching banks turned out to be a huge blessing in disguise. We just have to wait for the appraisal and if all looks good, we will be homeowners!
I also have two "Congratulations".... one to my sister in law, Amy, and her husband, Brian. They are expecting their second child. Amy is due at the end of March, so Keith and I will be blessed with another neice or nephew!
The second Congrats goes to our friends Deepak and Lynn, who just got engaged last Friday. We are so thrilled for them!
I just ordered something for Chloe online. I can't wait to get these in the mail.
They are called BabyLegs. Aren't they so cute?!?! Love them!
My mom and Jim sold their house! They will be moving into the house they bought some time ago and have been "redoing". They close on September 25, so we'll be going to Decatur next weekend to help them get ready for the big move. I'll need to see my childhood home one more time. I've never known another home. It'll be a little sad for me to say goodbye, but I know that this move is such a great move for Mom and Jim.
And, Chloe is 14 weeks old today. Wow. Time is going so quickly. She is growing up right before our eyes.
She's starting to "bat" at toys and has a mean grasp. Lets just say that my hair is always pulled back now and I try to get my nipples covered as quickly as possible after I nurse her. (Sorry if that was TMI...)
She is trying so hard to roll over, but she isn't quite ready yet.
Ok, that's enough for now.... Just a few tidbits on what's going on with us.

Yay for saving money on your house!
It's amazing how time flies with a baby, isn't it? I love to see them grow and learn but I still get sad that they aren't little tiny anymore.
Wished we lived closer, our girls could play and we could drink coffee! :)
I cannot wait to see her in those tiny legwarmers! Too cute. Sounds like everything else is going well. Good luck on finalizing the house.
Ah she is SO cute!!
Those little baby warmers are TOO sweet!
Hey me and Erin are coming to St.Louis(isn't that where you live?) for Joyce Meyer we should meet up for dinner!!!
Your mom is moving!!! I'm so excited about that ...send me pictures of the new house please.
What a beautiful picture of Chloe.
And I'm glad the house thing is working for you two
Life is good huh?????

Karen
I am so happy you found the baby legs...i just love them, if I could put them on Ry and no one judge me or my baby I would!!!
I have been wondering about the house thing...I guess I could have been a good friend and called and asked.
We have to reschedule our play date...let me know when is good for you!
Those leg warmers are precious, where did you order them from? I'd love to get Abby some! I'm so excited for your mom and Jim, have fun in D-Town this weekend........go by my mom's so she can see Chloe (and give her a big hug from me!!!) Love Trace
Oh yeah, and I totally love the leg warmers! Too fun.
I can't believe she's 14 weeks already. She is beautiful. Good luck with the house, we had to switch at the last minute, 4 days before the closing, but it all worked out and for the better. I'm sure it will be that way for you too.
I completely understand how you feel about your parent's house. My dad sold the house I grew up in 3 years ago, I still can't drive past it when I'm in town.
