Such is my life right now.
If you know me, you might know that I DO NOT like chaos.
I prefer order.
Hard to have order when you live amongst boxes. Packed boxed, empty boxes.... boxes, boxes everywhere. Takes all I have to not let the boxes drive me insane. The good news is, we are planning on being in our new house next Saturday.
So, I just need to keep my sanity for one more week.
Then the madness that comes with unpacking......
Other news- Chloe had her 4 month checkup on Monday. She is growing like a lil weed. She's 25 3/4 inches long and weighs 15.5 lbs. I look at her and can't believe she isn't my little newborn anymore. People are not lying when they say it goes quickly. I'm afraid if I blink she will be crawling.
We have to pick out our appliances. We need a fridge and a gas range. I'm going back and forth on the fridge. At first, we wanted a side by side fridge. Now, with the economy the way it is, I wonder if we should get just a regular refridgerator because it would save us around $400-$500. Keith and I have to talk about it tonight. The economy scares me, but that is a whole other post.
I've been looking forward to this weekend forever. Keith is off on Monday for Columbus Day, so 3 day weekend for us!!! We'll be working for most of it, but it won't matter cause we'll all be together! And, my mom is coming down on Tuesday to see the house and to watch Chloe for me while I pack and get things done around the house. So excited to see her too!!!
I may not be around much this week, but once our internet is hooked up at the new house, next Monday, I will be back!!! I do hope to post some pics of the house this week though, so check back soon.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Ew. Boxes. We've been here 9 years and I'm purdy sure we still have some that aren't unpacked. :)
Don't panic, just think, in a coupla weeks they'll all be unpacked and you'll be in your new home for the holidays! So fun!
Here's my little tidbit on the fridge. Not that you asked...
We bought a side by side shortly after we moved in here. They were the rage. And I'm not sure why. They really don't have much room. Especially the freezer. If I were to buy a fridge now, I'd definitely by one that has the freezer on the bottom, fridge on top. LOVE 'EM! So roomy and practical.
I'm done now. :)
I agree with Sarah that the bottom freezers are nice. They are just slightly more expensive than the standard, but they put he stuff you use the most often at your fingertips. We have had boxes since January. We are almost ready to unpack more of them - once we get the closet shelves/organizers installed this weekend. Hopefully you can get packed and unpacked quicker than we have!
Oh I don't wish I was you! We moved while I was 6 months pregnant. Basically, I got out of moving anything heavy and was on "water bottle duty". It would be quite difficult to do with a baby to watch, so I'm glad to hear you're mom is coming to help!
We bought all new appliances when we moved b/c the ones here were ANCIENT and disgusting. We did have a fridge already though (side-by-side). If I had to get another one right now, I would not get a side-by-side though. There is definitely less usable space inside. Although having shelves that you can adjust does help. The freezer is so thin you can't fit a WHOLE lot in...like frozen pizza...just doesn't go well.
I guess I'll be the third and say i'd go with the same kind everyone else is suggesting - freezer on bottom. They do make some with the freezer on bottom and two doors up top. They sort of have the side-by-side look but it's not side-by-side inside. Does that make sense?
Can't wait to see pictures of the new place!
Oh man... now I am really second guessing myself.
Right now we have the fridge that has the two doors on top, with the bottom loading freezer. We don't like the freezer cause you just have to pile everything on top of everything and you can't tell what is in there very well.
That's why we thought we would go with the side by side.
Unfortunately, all you side by side owners aren't thrilled with the space.....
Oh, what to do, what to do....
We don't have long to decide either, considering it needs to be delivered and installed before next Saturday.
Crap.
That is so exciting, moving this week!!! YEAH for you!
ALL the best to you!
HUGS
I HATE my side by side. It was in the house when we bought it and unfortunately is fairly new and works fine. It is my most loathed appliance in the house and I wish I could justify the expense to replace it.
I'm so excited for you! I am like you...I don't do well with chaos. At least this is an exciting sort of chaos! Moving is hard work but lots of fun in the end!
I don't have a lot of time to post right now but something stuck in my mind about what you said: The economy scares me, but that is a whole other post....Cory remember as long as you lean on Him, He will provide your every need!!!!! The economy should not ever bother you nor me in times like this...because we know the end of the story and it's quit exciting:)
Cor, sorry I have been so blog MIA. I hope you will forgive me. Hope since it's been a few days that your anxiety is settling. Everything will work out. It always does!
hey!! i haven't been in the blogging world for a while, but i just wanted to say hey and i hope you are doing well! I cannot believe your little girl is 4 months! man time flies. good luck getting everything moved!!
Hope you are working your way through those boxes. I can't wait to see pics! :) Hang in there!
I hope the move went well and you are getting settled and comfortable in the new house!
